Due to an unexpected hip replacement, Don Williams has been forced to cancel his entire 2016 tour.

In a press release Tuesday (Feb. 2), his publicist announced the tour has been postponed, writing, “Ticket buyers are encouraged to contact local venues and authorized ticketing platforms regarding refunds.”
The 76-year-old entertainer is a multiple ACM and CMA award winner, and a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. He earned the nickname “the Gentle Giant” due to his height and soft-spoken presence, as well as his calming songs including “Lord I Hope This Day Is Good,” “Good Ole Boys Like Me,” “Back in My Younger Days,” “You’re My Best Friend” and “Some Broken Hearts Never Mend.”
