Mark Chesnutt is set to release his first album in 6 years on July 8. The album is titled Tradition Lives. Tradition Lives was produced by Jimmy Ritchey

Tradition Lives includes 12 new tracks. The album also includes a tribute Merle Haggard and  songwriter, Red Lane.
