Paisley’s Grand Ole Opry Tribute To Little Jimmy Dickens

It’s still difficult for Brad Paisley on stage without Little Jimmy Dickens, “his very best friend” next to him, who died January 2015.   In an exclusive clip, (Curtesy of Rare Country), from the new movie “American Saturday Night: Live From The Grand Ole Opry,” “Brad told a captive audience of the influence of Little Jimmy and even performed some of Jimmy’s 1949 classic song “Country Boy.””  “Jimmy was just about the longest running member they ever had,” says Brad in the movie, which is playing exclusively at more than 200 Carmike Cinemas starting on Feb. 12. “He epitomized this place when he was out here, so someone needs to sing a couple words he said.”

Brad is joined by “fellow country superstars Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, The Band Perry and Brett Eldredge starring in the much-anticipated new movie, which gives country music fans an inside look at the magic behind the scenes at the legendary Grand Ole Opry.”

Tickets are available for “American Saturday Night: Live From The Grand Ole Opry” via or Fandango.
