Songwriter Richard Fagan Dead at 69

Richard Fagan died Friday night (Aug. 5) in Nashville of liver cancer at the age of 69.

Fagan wrote songs for Neil Diamond, Hank Williams Jr., George Strait, Moe Bandy, Mel McDaniel, Michael Montgomery, Shenandoah and Clay Walker.

Fagan got a recording contract with Mercury Records and released his only record in 1979.
