A complaint has been filed against Kid Rock’s alleged Senate campaign even though Kid Rock has not formally announced his candidacy for Senate. The watchdog group, Common Cause, filed a complaint against the campaign because Rock has not officially registered as a candidate and because he has sold campaign merchandise.
Rock is selling campaign bumper stickers and t-shirts on KidRockForSenate.com. Kid Rock made a statement about Common Cause’s allegations: “No. 1: I have still not officially announced my candidacy. No. 2: See No. 1 and go f–k yourselves.”
As part of the compaint Common Cause is requesting the Department of Justice and the Federal Election Committee to investigate Kid Rock’s campaign and punish any violations committed by the campaign.
