Hall of Famer Leon Russell Dead at 74

Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame member Leon Russell has passed away at the age of 74. Russell died in his sleep November 13.

Russell was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. He wrote and performed hits like “Tightrope,” “Delta Lady” and “Song for You.”

Russell is survived by his wife, four daughters, and three grandchildren. A private service is planned in Nashville, and a public service planned in Tulsa.
