Shows at Tin Pan South 2016 Music City –A Week Long Songwriters Festival Featuring The Best!

The old saying…”The Cream Will Always Rise To The Top,” is certainly true for music and artists in Nashville.  There is never a void when it comes to artists, song-writers or music coming into the spotlight.

Lee Thonas Miller, NSAI Board President, Welcomes you to the 24th annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival. “This is where we celebrate the song and those who create it. Come hear the stories and meet the personalities behind your favorite music. Every night will be unique. Thank you for loving music and, on behalf of the Nashville Songwriter’s Association International, thank for venturing to our town- Music City where “It all begins with a song.”

In October 1967, forty-two songwriters got together and formed the Nashville Songwriters Association, because they knew their profession needed a voice. Today, NSAI is the largest not-for-profit member trade association for songwriters in the world.  Then, in 1993, a handful of songwriters and the staff at NSAI produced the first Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival. Now in its twenty-fourth year, Tin Pan South embodies the spirit of the songwriting community.
